Climb Inc.

Our History & Leadership

Decades of experience are guided by hands-on leadership and a clear vision.

About Us

Founded in 1977, CLIMB, Inc. began with a vision to create accessible residential care for adults with developmental disabilities and blindness at a time when few options existed. The original Sierra Madre home opened with 19 residents, many of whom remain part of the community today, reflecting a long-standing commitment to stability and continuity of care.

Over time, CLIMB has expanded to offer a range of residential and supported living programs designed to meet varying levels of need. This growth has been guided by a focus on maintaining consistent standards of care, strong operational oversight, and homes where individuals are known, respected, and supported to live in ways that feel meaningful to them.

As a family-owned and operated organization, CLIMB brings together structured systems and a highly personal approach. Leadership stays actively engaged across programs, guiding decisions that reflect the needs of residents, their families, and the broader circle of support around them.

Leadership and Experience

CLIMB is led by a long-standing leadership team with deep experience in residential care and supported living. Many team members have been part of the organization for decades, creating a culture of stability and shared understanding that carries through each home and program.

Our Foundation of Care

CLIMB was built on the belief that every person deserves a safe, stable home, meaningful connections, and opportunities to live as independently as possible. That foundation continues to guide how we design and deliver care today.

What Sets CLIMB Apart?

CLIMB programs are intentionally structured to balance consistency with a personal, hands-on approach. Our size allows us to maintain clear standards of care while staying closely connected to the people we serve, the homes we operate, and the teams who support them.

Our Ongoing Commitment

CLIMB is committed to providing care that is attentive, consistent, and built for the long term. We focus on creating stable, supportive homes where individuals are known, respected, and able to live in ways that feel meaningful to them.
