Our History & Leadership
Decades of experience are guided by hands-on leadership and a clear vision.
About Us
Founded in 1977, CLIMB, Inc. began with a vision to create accessible residential care for adults with developmental disabilities and blindness at a time when few options existed. The original Sierra Madre home opened with 19 residents, many of whom remain part of the community today, reflecting a long-standing commitment to stability and continuity of care.
Over time, CLIMB has expanded to offer a range of residential and supported living programs designed to meet varying levels of need. This growth has been guided by a focus on maintaining consistent standards of care, strong operational oversight, and homes where individuals are known, respected, and supported to live in ways that feel meaningful to them.
As a family-owned and operated organization, CLIMB brings together structured systems and a highly personal approach. Leadership stays actively engaged across programs, guiding decisions that reflect the needs of residents, their families, and the broader circle of support around them.
